Description
English: Mawlynnong is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of the Meghalaya state, India. It is famous for its cleanliness and natural attraction. Mawlynnong was awarded the prestigious tag of 'Cleanest Village in Asia' in 2003 by Discover India Magazine.

Several bamboo tree houses are present at Mawlynnong village. One has to pay a small entry fee (INR 10) to use the premises. It is a little scary to go to the top. Once on top, one can observe a breathtaking view of the hills of India and the plains of Bangladesh.

Ps. Not recommended for anyone who is afraid of heights.
