English: The Banat buffer zone created by the French Danube Army in 1919 (shaded), superimposed over the three partitions of the Banat: Romanian in blue, Serb in red, and Hungarian in green. Based on Sándor Kókai, "Illúziók és csalódások: a Bánsági Köztársaság", in Közép-Európai Közlemények, Vol. 2, Issues 2–3, 2009, pp. 63–74.
