| Description |
English: Yeshwant Rural Education Society’s Bapurao Deshmukh College of Engineering was established in 1983 by Late Shri Bapuraoji Deshmukh, a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi with the concept of “Teaching is a mission not a profession.” This mission is being continued by our present Chairman Prof. Sureshbhau B. Deshmukh. The institute is marching ahead sucessfully under the dynamic leadership of our Director Mr. Sameer Deshmukh. The institute is achieving academic excellance under the able guidance of our Principal Dr. G. V. Thakre. The College is appreoved by the AICTE and permanently affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. The institute has the established Khadi Village Industries Commission’s KVIC project of Government of India, New Delhi. Eco- Friendly Green Campus is spread over 32 acres. The institute is approved as a Local Nodal Center to promote Outcome Based NBA Accreditation Process. The Institute has a registered alumni association “Gandhigram Engineers’ Alumni Association”. |
