| Description |
"El Indio Barvac", Fabio Brenes. Simposio de Escultura 2009. Asoc. Barva Escultorica. This is a statue located at the Barva park. I shot this using the color light modeling technique I'm experimenting with to shoot statues. Well the principle is easy... the statue is white! So, casting different pure colored led lights at different angles, allow you to adjust the light intensity for that color before converting to grayscale & then duotone. I like the effect on statues! I wish people had pure white skin! Wait a moment! Some people do! Myself included! BTW yesterday I posted a picture with some "skin". It was amazing to discover that it got more views in 24 hours than one of my best shots made public several months ago. I have a TON of "skin" material unprocessed on my hard drive. But I don't want to be known as just a models photographer, which indeed I'm not! I just help Max setting up lights, and make some backup pictures for him. |
