Object history | File of material relating to a socketed, bronze javelin head. Includes photocopy of object description sheet which includes sketch of object (date unspecified); letter (25 August 2002) from Richard Davis, Department of Archaeology, School of Humanities, University of Nottingham, to Fiona Davern, Registrar, Hunt Museum requesting information on basal looped spearheads from the Bronze Age. He understands from a doctoral thesis of Greer Ramsey entitled ‘Middle Bronze Age Weapons in Ireland’ that there is such an item in the Hunt Museum. Further letter (9 September 2002) thanks Davern for information she sent to him. | ||||||||||||||||||||
