The Grand-Bayonne, the Petit-Bayonne, the Château-Neuf seen from the port fot deep sea ships in Bayonne.
Depicted place The Saint Esprit bridge leads to the Porte de France and the Reduit. Rebuilt in stone on wooden foundations by the engineer Durant in 1844, its single deck now separates the deep-sea port from its river section; in the background, the cathedral still lacks spires, which makes this engraving more of an artist's view of the city in the mid-19th century...
