Description
English:

Brown bears can climb trees, although not very well once they grow into adulthood. This sow became nervous with her first cub around people and would climb trees right in Brooks Camp to escape other bears and humans. Bear management in Katmai is complex and controversial to prevent negative impacts to bears or humans at times.
