| Description |
English: Bedd Arthur and distant mast Signals can have been no less important in the distant past that they are today. The location and alignment of prehistoric sites relative to natural landmarks should be taken into account when considering the meaning of sites such as Bedd Arthur. If this is the grave of King Arthur, or another important figure, it could not be better placed among the peaks of the Preseli mountain range. However the site is atypical and questions marks hang over its origins and even its authenticity as a prehistoric monument. |
