Description
English: Detail of an amateur drawing of Het Bat (foreground) and Stenenwal in Wyck (background), both along the river Meuse in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Collection of RHCL archives, Maastricht.
Nederlands: Detail van een amateurtekening van het Bat (voorgrond) en Stenenwal in Wyck (achtergrond), beide aan de Maas in Maastricht. De tekening dateert volgens een (later?) opschrift op de achterkant uit 1846, maar de vele fabrieksschoorstenen in Wyck lijken te wijzen op de aardwerkfabriek Clermont & Chinay, opgericht in 1851. Koreman schrijft de tekening toe aan Jan Brabant, die echter veel strakker (rechtlijniger) tekende. Collectie RHCL, Maastricht.
