| Description |
English: Built circa 1912, this Classical Revival-style building formerly housed a location of the Belk Department Store chain. The building features a red brick front facade with painted side and rear facades, arched steel-frame windows on the second floor of the front facade, one-over-one windows with decorative brick headers on the side facades, a front entrance with tile-clad piers, a terrazzo floors, and a recessed entrance flanked by plate class windows, and stone trim. The building is a contributing structure in the Newberry Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, and increased to its present size in 2004. |
