| Description |
English: Bescaby Landfill reclamation site. Returned to farming this was once a large quarry landfill site. It is now home to a flock of sheep. They were too shy to stay for a photo but turned to keep an eye on me when they got to the top of the hill.
The smaller Stonesby Quarry off to the right, has been retained as a nature reserve and is an SSSI: 594099. |
