Typed document, black text on white paper.

Brenham, Texas Oct. 5, 1934. Superintendent, Gettysburg Battlefield, Gettysburg, Pa. Personal Attention: Dear Sir; - I am assisting Mrs. Felix H. Robertson, the widow of the late General Felix H. Robertson, to obtain some information concerning the monuments at Gettysburg Battlefield. Her letter to the secretary of state, according to this letter to her was referred to you. Any courtesy shown her in this matter will be appreciated by the writer. She wishes to know just what type of a military marker was erected to General Jerome B. Robertson, who placed it there, it’s size and approximate cost. Also has Texas any monument to her soldiers who fought in the war between the states, also if all the other states have markers to their soldiers at Gettysburg, also who passes on the acceptance of monuments placed on the Battlefield? Also, if you have any available information or literature from the monument makers or manufacturers? I am enclosing a stamped, addressed letter for Mrs. Robertson, and would indeed thank you for your prompt reply. Again thanking you, I am Very sincerely, Betty Houston-Marden.
