Description
English: Closeup black and white image of First Lady Betty Ford and her daughter Susan Ford embracing one another in the dressing room at Phi Beta Kappa Hall at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg during campaign trip to Virginia prior to the third presidential debate between Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter.

This image comes from the photo contact sheet, identified as B1984 by the White House Photographic Office (WHPO), which is housed at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, a branch of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).

The date on the photo contact sheet is the date the roll of film was processed, not necessarily the date the photographs were taken. See table below for additional details.
