A view of the eastern end of the Big Bear supermarket at 386 West Lane Avenue. This store was the first Big Bear location. It opened on February 15, 1934, and closed on July 25, 1985. The building was demolished on July 23, 1986, to make way for the Riverwatch Tower. Also featured in the picture are the signs and pumps for the Marathon service station, 340 West Lane Avenue. |
