DescriptionBipolar isosurfaces.png | Sigma and tau isosurfaces for the two-dimensional bipolar coordinates, all of which are perfect, orthogonal circles. Sigma ranges from -pi/2 to -0.5 (bottom center circles) and from 0.5 to pi/2 (top center circles), whereas tau ranges from -0.5 to -2 (left circles) and from 0.5 to 2.0 (right circles). This image was made by me with my own software on 23 October 2006. I hereby license this image under the GFDL. |
