black bear seen walking at night by game camera

Black bears can live in a variety of habitats. They can live almost anywhere they can find food, but they are mainly found where there is an abundance of trees. As large animals, they require large amounts of open space to roam, feed and raise their young. This leaves black bear populations vulnerable with the most immediate threat being habitat loss.
