Summary[edit]

Description
English: Black guillemots, Bangor harbour (1) Bangor harbour has become famous for its colony of black guillemots. They winter at sea and return in the spring nesting in any available hole, nook or cranny around the harbour. I counted 44 one day in May 2005. This pair is on the North Pier. If you type “Bangor black guillemots” into Google you might also find references to the black guillemots at the harbor in Bangor, Maine. Fortean????
