Summary[edit]

Description
English: Folkestone - 891 - Charles Francis - IRONMONGERS - Charles Francis ran a very successful business from here, and offered services such as hot water apparatus fitting, locksmithing and sanitary services. AS specialists in gas fitting they also provided an urgent repair service. In 1906 another ironmongers - Burley Strange - occupied the premises. Between 1918 and 1921 it was the Olympia Arcade (an amusement arcade) and then from 1928 into the 1940s it was the location of a Timothy Whites Chemist.
