Description
English: Blueschist near Cambria in California. It is an outcrop below the bluff top, part of a sizeable block of blueschist within dark shale-dominated melange. Shows small-scale banding, folding and shearing in this blueschist block. The image shows about 18 in. x 12 in. (45 cm x 30 cm).
