Desde su creación, Airbus ha requerido de artilugios como este, para transportar las diferentes partes de una aeronave y ensamblarlas en una factoría común en Europa. Este antiguo Airbus Skylink Boeing 377 Super Guppy, es el predecesor -de la competencia, por cierto- del actual Beluga, que de vez en cuando se deja ver también por aquí. La característica forma de su fuselaje, se debe a su capacidad para transportar desde alas, hasta cabinas de aviones, naturalmente, más pequeños. La factoría en Hamburg de Airbus, está a un lado del río Elba, junto al enorme puerto. La imagen está tomada desde la otra orilla del río, lo que llaman "La playa de Hamburgo". |
