Summary[edit]

Description Looking northeast toward Boston's financial district from Prudential Tower, in 1975. The Custom House tower is at the far right. It was the tallest structure in Boston in the 1950s, one foot higher than the John Hancock Building, though not as imposing or part of the skyline. The green area at right is Boston Common.
