Summary[edit]

Description Spikelets are paired (1 unstalked and awned, the other stalked andawnless). The unstalked spikelets are about 3.5-4 mm long and rarely pitted in the native subspecies bladhii. Spikelets are 3.5-4 mm long and always pitted in the introduced subspecies glabra.
