Summary
[edit]DescriptionBoundary Stone, Dunford Road, Dunford - geograph.org.uk - 716898.jpg |
English: Boundary Stone, Dunford Road, Dunford Dunford civil parish was formed in 1938 from parts of Fulstone and Hepworth CPs (in New Mill UD), Holme and Scholes CPs (in Holmfirth UD) and Thurstone UD. This boundary stone is therefore obsolete and is no longer shown on OS maps, so it is good to find that it still exists. It looks to have been repainted since 1938. In the distance the entrance to the Winscar car park can be seen on the right. |
