Description The former German destroyer Z 39 in a drydock at the Boston Navy Yard, Massachusetts (USA), 11 August 1945. The U.S. Navy designated the destoyer DD-939. Note the anchor stowage facilities. Propellers from this ship are currently in Annapolis, MD. On grounds of former Navy "Annapolis Lab".
