Description
English: 'Boy eating candy on scale' Los Angeles 1973.

When it comes to street photography of children, this is an area where female photographers have a big advantage over men. Seldom do people complain when a woman shoots kids. But in 2018, if you're a male shooting stranger kids on the street - you’re a guilty pedophile until proven innocent.

The expressions and their lack of inhibitions make children wonderful subjects for photography. But, every time I shoot kids on the street I know I have to be extra careful. Consequently I don’t shoot as many kids as I like to.
