| Description |
English: Brandur Sandoy is currently (2010) the mayor of Sandur Municipality in the island of Sandoy in the Faroe Islands. He is also a former B71 Sandoy football player, a defender. He played two international matches in 1996 against FC Apoel Nicosia in the UEFA Intertoto. Brandur Sandoy is a farmer, he runs his sheep farm Inni í Dal, near the football field of B71 Sandoy. This photo was taken Inni í Dal football stadium on 25 September 2010 at the Old Boys final matches between four fooball teams: HB Tórshavn, B71 Sandoy, KÍ Klaksvík and B68 Toftir. The winner was HB Tórshavn, B71 won silver and B68 won bronze.
Føroyskt: Brandur Sandoy er borgarstjóri á Sandi í Føroyum. Hann varð valdur til borgarstjóra í oktober 2009. Brandur fór fyri fystu ferð uppí politikk, tá hann stillaði upp til kommunuvalið í november 2008 og varð valdur. Hann tók við bygdarráðssessinum 1. januar 2009 og gjørdist sum nevnt borgarstjóri knappar 11 mánaðir seinni. Brandur er bóndi og hevur festi Inni í Dal, sum nevnist Skemmugarður. Brandur er eisini fyrrverandi B71 leikari. Hann hevur m.a. spælt tveir altjóða dystir við B71, tað var í 1996, tá B71 spældi í UEFA Intertoto kappingini. Henda myndin er tikin til finalu dystin hjá Old Boys 25. september 2010, til dystin millum B71 og HB. 4 lið dystaðust um heiðurplássini: HB, B68, B71 og KÍ. HB vann gull, B71 vann silvur og B68 vann bronsu. |
