English: Bray: The Lich Gate The Lich Gate is under the cottage to the left and leads to St Michael's Church. There is a plaque on the internal wall of the gate which states "Lich Gate A.D. 1448".
(NB There is a charitable organization that manages the gate entitled "The Bray Lich Gate Trust" and in deference I have used their spelling and that on the plaque rather than the more commonly used lych gate.) |
