Summary[edit]
DescriptionBrettener Hundle.jpg |
English: The Brettener Hundle, cultural monument of the city of Bretten. The legend tells of a fattened little dog who was released in front of the city wall during the siege of Bretten in 1504 by Württemberg troops. Due to the good nutritional status of the dog, the people of Württemberg break off the siege of Brettens, as they assume that the inhabitants of Bretten still have enough food supplies. |
