Summary[edit]

Description

Chongming Island, Shanghai, China

Proposed bridge to adjacent island. Construction on this world's longest suspension bridge begins soon and is expected to be completed before the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. I heard 2008-9. A tunnel connects the island to Shanghai city.

UPDATE: The bridge was completed in 2009, but does not closely resemble this model. Smyth (talk) 11:51, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
