| Description |
English: Bridge over Canal to the Anchor Inn. This bridge spans a canal which has been built to allow boats to navigate around a weir in the river Medway. It's a popular spot on hot sunny days for local children to go swimming. There were plenty of signs on the bridge discouraging diving and jumping but this didn't deter the children. In the distance along the canal, a raising road bridge could be seen which was lifted whenever a vessel passed down the canal. |
