Nederlands: Brief van Churchill aan Gerbrandy (7 juni 1944).

Bijschrift van Erfgoed in Beeld op Flickr: "Het is opmerkelijk dat Churchill wel schrijft over de geallieerde opmars in Italië, maar niet over de invasie in Normandië, die een dag eerder was begonnen. / Het Gerbrandy-monument herinnert de inwoners van Sneek aan de Fries die van 1940 tot 1945 minister-president van het Londens kabinet was. Dit leverde hem de bijnaam 'Kleine Churchill' op." [Voor het Gerbrandy-monument zie bijvoorbeeld (File:Sneek14.JPG.]
