| Description |
English: Brightling-Mountfield conveyor The conveyor belt carrying gypsum from Brightling Mine to Mountfield can only curve at a large radius in the horizontal plane, as may just be seen. The cableway which it replaced changed direction sharply at certain pylons, and so the conveyor had to follow a different course over parts of its route. Here, the track veering right away from the conveyor was the course of the cableway, which continued straight on over the top of the viewpoint. |
