Description
English: Brynmor Jones Library, University of Hull. Famed for being the workplace of the poet Philip Larkin, who was the university librarian from 1955 until his death 30 years later. In 2008, The Times judged Larkin the greatest British writer since 1945. He first moved to Hull from Belfast (see 596930), and initially lived at 789274. In 1974 he moved to 789316.
