| Description |
English: Buildwas ash disposal pool The south-eastern corner of the lagoon used to dispose of the surplus ash from the Ironbridge Power Station. Some of the ash is ground down into PFA Pulverised Fuel Ash for use as an activator in the ready-mixed concrete industry, but a quantity still remains to be buried in the disposal site just above the power station. Bragger's Hill, with its mobile phone masts, is on the horizon. |
