English: Bullman Cleugh and Backstone Edge. Looking up to Backstone Edge which is on the southern edge of the gridsquare. Backstone Edge is the point on this flank of Cross Fell where the slope changes from being concave to being convex. Thus you can see as far as Backstone Edge but not the rising ground beyond. |
