Ein neuartiger italienischer Fluzeugtyp, welcher nach Art der italienischen Schneiderpokal-Flugzeuge als Langflugzeug bei Versuchsflügen eine Stundengeschwindigkeit von 450 km erreicht.

Long range aircraft S.M.64
A close-up of the record-breaking long-range aircraft Savoia-Marchetti S.64 on its landing strip at Montecellio (near the town of Guinonea, Italy). Note that the strip is built on a slope. When starting, the aircraft rolled downhill for an extra push.

The indicated top speed of 450 Km/h might be slightly exagerated, as the plane was primarily a long-distance record breaker who's only speed record was an average of 139 km/h over a closed 5000km course.

The German text reads:An Italian novel type of Aircraft, which reminiscent of the Italian Schneider trophy planes, as a landplane during trials reached a speed of 450 Km an hour.
