For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Lübbenow, Blick auf ein Friedensdenkmal Lübbenow - "Dorf des Friedens" Kürzlich benannten die Einwohner der Gemeinde Lübbenow im Kreise Prenzlau ihr Dorf "Dorf des Friedens" und brachten mit dieser Namensgebung ihren aktiven Einsatz zum Friedenskampf zum Ausdruck. Jedes Haus, der Gemeinde wird in Zukunft am Giebel eine Friedenstaube tragen. Außerdem hat die Gemeinde ein Friedensbuch angelegt, in dem sich alle Einwohner zum aktiven Kampf für den Frieden verpflchten. Vor dem Kulturhaus des Dorfes wurde ein Friedensdenkmal errichtet. UBz: Das frühere Schloß in Lübenow ist heute ein vorbildliches Kulturhaus für die werktätige Landbevölkerung. Das Friedensdenkmal davor wurde von den Einwohnern des Dorfes in freiwilligen Arbeitseinsätzen errichtet.
