For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Chemnitz, Krankenstation der MAS Illus Seidel 26.2.1951 Kulturhaus der MAS in Chemnitz. Das Kulturhaus der Maschinenausleihstation in Chemnitz bildet das Zentrum für die Traktoristen und Bauern des ländlichen Bezirkes der Stadt. Es verfügt über ein modern ausgestattetes Bauern- und Aktivistenzimmern, in denen sich die Kolleginnen und Kollegen der MAS nach Feierabend zu gemeinsamen Beratungen oder zur Unterhaltung zusammenfinden. Wie die kulturelle Betreuung vorbildlich ist, wird auch für die Gesundheit und ärztliche Hilfe der Mitarbeiter auf dieser Maschinenausleihstation Sorge getragen. UBz: Blick ins Sanitätszimmer.
