For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Klein, 20.7.1951 Wiederaufbauarbeiten im Oderbruch. Durch die schweren Kämpfe in den letzten Tagen des Krieges und die Hochwasserkatastrophen im Frühjahr 1947 und 1950 wurde das Oderbruchgebiet stark verwüstet. UBz.: Die erste neue Stahl-Kombinus-Dreschmaschine mit eingebauter Strohpresse verlässt die MAS Kienitz, um den Bauern des Neubauerndorfes Posedin bei der Einbringung der Ernte zu helfen.
