For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Chemnitz, Fulitzstraße Eulitzstraße, Wohnblock Illus Klein 10.12.1951 Bauplatz DDR. In Westdeutschland werden hauptsächlich Kasernen gebaut. In der DDR werden durch unseren Fünfjahrplan neue Industriewerke errichtet und für Wohnungen, Kulturhäuser, Krankenhäuser, Ambulaterien u.a. 4160 Millionen DM ausgegeben. 10,1 Millionen qm Wohnfläche werden in 53 Städten bis 1955 wiederhergestellt oder neugebaut. UBz: Einen neuer Wohnblock in Chemnitz, Fulitzstraße Eulitzstraße, kurz vor der Fertigstellung.
