For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Funck 27.5.1952 Nationales Aufbauprogramm . Mechanisierung der Bauhilfsarbeiten in der Stalinallee. Duch die vielseitige Mechanisierung in der Bauindustrie wird es u. A. Möglich, Arbeiten, die sonst mit vieler Mühe von Huckern ausgeführt wurden, durch Maschinen verrichten zu lassen. Dadurch werden Arbeitskräfte frei, die bereits an anderer Stelle zur Erfüllung unserer Wirtschaftspläne eingesetzt werden können. UBz: Im Abschnitt D-Nord in der Stalinallee wird von einem Turmdrehkran ein Transportgefäss mit Mörtel zum IV.Stockwerk gehoben. Von hier aus wird der Mörtel mit einer Rutsche zum Bestimmungsort transportiert.
