Wismar, Hafen Zentralbild Junge 23.10.1952 Der Warenumschlag in unseren Häfen-Beweis des wirtschaftlichen Aufstiegs unserer Republik. Ein wichtiger Faktor unserer Volkswirtschaft ist der Aussenhandel. Dank langfristiger Handelsabkommen mit der Sowjetunion und den Ländern der Volksdemokratie konnte die Deutsche Demokratische Republik den internationalen Warenaustausch von Jahr zu Jahr ausdehnen. So stieg der Aussenhandelsumsatz 1952 gegenüber dem Vorjahr um 60%. Die Deutsche Demokratische Republik importiert und exportiert zum grössten Teil Fertigerzeugnisse ihrer Industrie. Ein grosser Teil des Aussenhandels geht über unsere Häfen an der Ostseeküste. UBz: Durch automatische Förderanlagen wird die Getreideladung eines sowjetischen Dampfers im Hafen von Wismar gelöscht.
