For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
VEG Gewächshausanlagen Vockerode ADN-ZB Lehmann 20.2.1984- Im VEG Gewächshausanlagen Vockerode, Kreis Gräfenhainichen. Gärtnermeisterin Anita Wichmann (mitte hinten) trägt Verantwortung für die Ausbildung von Lehrlingen, die sie hier aufsucht. Seit zehn Jahren ist der republikgrößte Treibgemüsebetrieb Jugendobjekt. Drei Viertel seiner Belegschaft sind Frauen. Von den acht Jugendkollektiven werden sechs von Frauen geleitet. Anita Wichmann ist ebenfalls Jugendbrigadier.
