ADN-ZB Hirndorf 2.4.84 Berlin: Museum für Deutsche Geschichte- Als Anklage gegen den Krieg sind die berühmten 22 Köpfe sterbender Krieger im Innenhof des ehemaligen Zeughauses - dem heutigen Museum für Deutsche Geschichte - weithin ein Begriff. Die Masken entstanden zwischen 1696 und 1699 nach Entwürfen des Bildhauers Andreas Schlüter, einem der bedeutensten Meister des deutschen Barock. Schlüter, vor 320 Jahren geboren, verlieh dem Bauwerk durch die zahlreichen Bildwerke ein bewegtes, barockes Gepräge. Der Innenhof wurde nach dem Künstler benannt. |
