For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Auszubildende aus Mosambik Zum Beitrag: Von 19, die auszogen Fischerei zu lernen-Berufsausbildung junger Mocambiquaner in Rostock ADN-VB-Sindermann 18.4.1984 Aus der Betriebsschule des VEB Fischfang Rostock erhalten gegenwärtig 19 junge Mosambiquer eine mehrjährige Fachausbildung in verschiedenen Berufen der Hochseefischerei. Als künftiege Vollmatrosen und spätere Schiffsführer lernen Armando Rodrigues (links) und Tomas Curado (rechts) schon jetzt die Küste von Mocambique auf der Seekarte kennen. Der Fachlehrer für Nautik Host Schwarz (rechts) unterrichtet die jungen Mocambiquaner in theoretischen. Seemännischen und Fischereispezifischen Fächern. (Hierzu gehören die Fotos 1984-0428-300N-303N!)
