For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Parsteiner See, Entnahme von Wasserproben ADN-ZB Müller-21.3.90 Bez. Frankfurt-O.: Wasseranalysen- Mit der Wasserqualitätsstufe 1 kann der Parsteiner See, Kreis Eberswalde, prunken. Von der Oberflußmeisterei des Bezirkes erstellte Analysen der 126 wichtigsten von rund 600 Seen des Territoriums weisen nur noch für zwei weitere - den Helene-See und den Schermützelsee - eine solch gute Wasserqualität aus. Hauptursache für die zunehmende Gefährdung des Wassers sind übermäßige Düngung von Ackerflächen und Einleitung ungeklärter Abwässer. - Siehe auch 1990-0321-8N.
