Zentralbild Biscan 17.9.1953 SAG-Betriebe werden volkseigen Schwermaschinenbau "Georgij Dimitroff" Zu den 33 SAG-Betrieben, die im Sinne des Moskauer Abkommens zwischen der Sowjtunion und der DDR mit Beginn des Jahres 1954 in deutsche Hand übergeben werden, gehört der Schwermaschinenbau "Georgij Dimitroff" in Magdeburg, das ehemalige Otto-Gruson-Werk. Als einer der grössten Schwermaschinenbetriebe der DDR erzeugt das Dimitroff-Werk vor allem Getriebe für höchste Leistung und Beanspruchung, für Walzerke u.ä.. Zu dem Maschinenpark des Werkes gehören Spezialmaschinen, die in der DDR einmalig sind und die Herstellung von Zahnrädern von 4 und 5 Metern Durchmesser ermöglichen.
