For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Sabke, Grundsteinlegung Zentralbild Bissan Ra.-3 Motive-19.5.1954 Die LPG "Freie Erde" in Magdeburg-Selbke hat mit dem Bau eines großen zentralen Wirtschaftshofes begonnen, der nach den neuesten Erkenntnissen der Landwirtschaft angelegt ist. Den Grundstein haben die Genossenschaftsbauern gemeinsam mit Arbeitern der benachbarten Industriebetriebe gelegt. UBz: Ein Fläschchen Superphosphat und ein Fläschchen mit Sacharin, die wichtigsten Produkte der Chemiewerke Fahlberg-List, legt Kollege Walter Höcker (l.) als Vertreter der Werke in die Kapsel, die in den Grundstein eingemauert wird. (Ganmz recht) Rolf Schwartz, der Stellvertreter des Oberbürgermeisters; daneben der 1. Vorsitzende der LPG, Werner Stein.
