For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Weißack, Befüllen einer Sämaschine Zentralbild Schutt-13.9.1954 Genossenschaftsbauer meldete sich zur Volkspolizei. Der 18jährige Horst Goral, Genossenschaftsbauer in der LPG "Aufbau" in Weißack, Kreis Farst, hat sich freiwillig zur Volkspolizei gemeldet. Dort will er aktiv mithelfen, die Errungenschaften unserer Republik zu beschützen.
