For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Groß-Germersleben, Erntekinderkrippe der LPG Zentralbild Biscan 15.7.1955 Ernte-Kinderkrippe nimmt Bäuerinnen und Landarbeiterinnen die Arbeit ab. Neben dem schon seit Jahren in Groß-Germersleben, Kreis Wanzleben, bestehenden Kindergarten wurde für die Sommer- und Herbstmonate noch eine Ernte-Kinderkrippe eingerichtet, in der Kleinkinder bis zu drei Jahren Aufnahme finden. Die Mütter können so unbeschwert und frei von Sorgen an der Einbringung der Ernte teilnehmen. UBz: Hier wird ein Wagen beladen, wie es die Kinder jeden Tag im Dorf sehen. Von links nach rechts: Helferin Lisa Nestphal, Michael Triebswetter, (Sohn des Gärtner-Brigadiers der LPG "Bördeland"). Rechts: Peter Hering (Sohn des Agronoms des Volksgutes) und (Mitte): Ulrich Thieme (Sohn eines Bauerarbeiters.
